When you DECLINE my request to join the savecoffeeboy community, a request I submitted in order to attempt to find out if this MASSIVE PDF was an official document of yours, or a personal project, you really make yourselves look like you're up to something if not suspicious, at the least really rather bordering on the crazy side.

I've PM'd you guys and I've mailed you, whoever's in charge of this document:

And jovialien wonders why I am annoyed with their group. She even removed me from her friends list because I and others criticized a friend of hers who is one of their more zealous members after she was quite rude to Barrowman at Collectormania. (She claims she wasn't rude, but when she talks about acting disgusted with him asking if they would watch another season, and letting him know she was disgusted, and storming away after giving him a book of their campaign....sorry, to me thats rude)

Oh I'm sooo embarassed! I saw that and assumed she wasn't serious about stomping away and that it was done in a joking manner.!! I even complimented her on it (hangs head in shame). Oh the humanity!

And I didn't realize 'the book' was this piece of Interweb nut fuckery. (hangs head in shame again). I assumed she asked him to sign one of the books and then pretended to be upset with him.

I wasn't there, I didn't see it, but between her report and those who were there and saw it....its ok to voice displeasure, but theres a right way and a wrong way. Being rude is not the right way.

And I don't know if it was the same book as the 400 page PDF file, but some kind of book was given to GDL and John, and sent to BBC.

Of course, the bound copy including your quotes, name etc has already been sent to the BBC, given to GDL and also handed to a less than enthused JB, leading to the "John is dissing us" school of outrage.

So at the moment, assuming anyone does read the thing, you (and anyone else who was quoted without permission) are pretty irrevocably attached to the hard copy, even if you get them to change the PDF.

In case you don't know, they're also obsessively tweeting the link as well. If you search for #torchwood, you'll probably come up with hundreds of posts, each one with a link.

I think we can say they are not the most gracious bunch of fans in the world, and their sense of entitlement is something to behold.

Obviously not referring to every single distraught Ianto-fan, but I'm pretty willing to apply it to those involved in savecoffeeboy, especially after they started hiding behind their "friends only" because what they were saying was actually being held up to the light and they didn't like the view from the outside.

I am going through the PDF right now, I am laughing because they included this random screengrab from the CBS executive about the Save Jericho campaign (which I was part of). Its one thing to save an entire show....and its another thing to be hysterical over a single character. Yes, I am calling them hysterical...but its based on their rabid response to anyone who doesn't support them or questions them.

And **HUG**...I am doing ok. Bill is home from the hospital after 3 weeks and the home health nurse makes her first visit this afternoon.

You don't think I wasn't upset over Ianto's death? I was. I felt RTD made a bad choice, killing another character so soon after Owen and Tosh. Its destroyed the show, losing 3 main characters so close together.

But I have to agree somewhat with karaokegal, that for those so up in arms over his death right now, its not about GDL or even Ianto himself. Its that their ship is destroyed, and for those who hate Gwen, they think its opened up the door for Gwen/Jack. Theres an awful lot of Gwen bashing going on in that 400 pages of PDF (and this is coming from someone who doesn't like Gwen, but not because of Jack/Ianto, because I feel Rhys deserves better).

I don't actually know, I don't really follow any communities anymore, so I get the feeling this has been going on behind my back for weeks now, simply because I don't pay enough attention. It's taken them this long to compile and get bound. The link went up a few days ago, but only yesterday did they deem it fit for public consumption beyond their f-locked (ahem) circle.

Well this is the nice Children of Earth side effect. The fan community is torn appart and people are fighting each others.

We do not have to fight like this, there is no need! At the end we all want the same: a nice entertaining show and a lot of good fanfiction.

Of course we do not shipp the same but at the end we liked the same show! We are all upset with COE but not necessary for the same reason.
I don't understand all this fuss. I am part of ninja teaboy since long time (Tencrush if you want to remove me go on) because I like my ninja Ianto but I am also part of savecoffeeboy because I finally needed some action to express my anger. I never saw this as a problem and advertized the same the pony and the SIJ justgiving for example.

Of course savecoffeeboy has a lot of Jack/Ianto shipper as it was originally created by the JackxIanto LJ community. So nobody should be surprised.

Regarding the report I was one of the people spreading it outside the community following a misunderstanding. Anyway, I like this report because it's a compilation of what happened since July and shows what we didn't like in COE. That's all.

I don't see the need to fight like this. I am sure we are all well educated ladies and should be able to solve this small problem which doesn't seeem to endanger the planet!

I hope that I will still be able to be part of the lovely Ninja Teaboy community after this post. If not it will just be a nice memory and I know that I will have the lovely people from savecoffeeboy to keep me company.

See, I just can't be bothered to care about anything RTD does anymore in the DWverse. After the mess he's made of DW, which is my first love in all this, I just don't care. I think it's good that Ianto's dead. That way he can't be fucked with in the future. (I can already feel myself ruing those words, but whatever.)

If someone else were to take over TW, then maybe I'd be interested, but even if they did bring Ianto back I wouldn't watch it as long as RTD is in charge.

Anyone who doesn't realize that RTD's assistant chucked that manifesto in the nearest bin on arrival is deluding themselves. Not to say other BBC people didn't keep a copy to laugh over, and check for names of crazies they need to add to the "list."
