I am so in love with Donna right now. I enjoyed the Doctor & Rose, but Donna & Doctor are just AMAZING. A season without a romantic relationship-type thing is NEEDED SO MUCH.
I think because Ten is so manic and hyper, Donna suits him better. She's not trying to get him to calm down and make out with her and get married and live in a little cottage with a white picket fence. I like their bickering. They seem to balance one another out.
Rose I liked alright with Nine but when Ten came around I really didn't like her. Martha was super in Smith and Jones but then her whole crush got in the way.
Donna is more like the old school companions and I like that. Kind of like Leela and Peri and whomever else rolled into one.
