I hate it when people post anonymous comments in my LJ. I think it's rude not to respond, but whenever I do respond, I get a feeling like I'm just doing the textual equivalent of shouting "Yeah? And so's YOUR MOTHER!" when the person in question has long since left the room.

I once had a very long and involved conversation with one anon across several of my LJ-posted fics for a while. But that's a rarity, I do admit.

I usually only get anonymous comments on my fics, though, and not even that many there.
