Yeah, so the spoilers for episode 12 of Torchwood. As I've said before, I wank on about Jack/Ianto at the moment, mostly because I believe all the issues I have with their relationship will be fixed in the runup to 13, so it's best to get all the wank out now. And I'm predicting that 13 will contain some sort of Jack-Ianto reverse Adam scenario, with possibly everyone thinking Jack done something Really Bad. Or something.

But yeah, those spoilers, I'm going to do it again:

AGENDA

I can't remember the last time I typed that word in regards to Ianto, but you'll all SO BE KISSING MY FEET when it turns out I was right all along.

L33T MANWHORE(MAYBENOTSPYBUTSTILL)

Truthfully, I really can't actually remember when I last typed those words in RLY BIG LETTERS and I can't for the life of me find them which reminds me that I really must go along and tag all my entries properly and goddammit why didn't I do that all along??

I will do that in the coming week or so.

I went through your previous entries (using the "previous entries" link at the bottom of the page) and did command-f for "manwhore" on each page.

These are only posts that have "manwhorespy" in them, by the way, I didn't search the comments, because that would have taken actual tedious work.

I just like reading "manwhorespy." :)

Indeed it would. But then you wouldn't get all those cool results from other people talking about your theories, and comments you made in other communities about the manwhorespy!

It is the Find command on my browser. It finds words in a browser window.

And yes, I have a Mac. I'm using Safari. But I believe there's a similar search function for Explorer and Firefox and so on. If you're on a Windows machine, I can only assume it involves some different weird-ass keystrokes and the letter F.

I just went back and read all your other posts. You totally called it! You get a cookie and the internets and all that jazz.

I'm really loving this version of Ianto, but now I'm fearing that they are making him so awesome and cool and badass that they will have to kill him the very next episode. And yet, something tells me that he could outsmart John and Gray with his hands tied behind his back.......sorry, drifted off for a minute there. And there is the love/ hate relationship with John to establish. Orgy anyone?

So, I know the books aren't canon, but there is this spoiler from Twilight Streets (the heavily Janto one) that says that we still don't know "the real Ianto." I know the authors are given character bios and information (one of them posted this at DWF)...and don't get me started on why can the authors be given this info, but not the episode writers...but anyway, I wonder what they have planned for Ianto, and how much of that statement comes from the bio.

"They" keep calling Ianto "Torchwood's mystery man" and it really seems like his backstory is being kept intentionally vague. In other words, don't give up on the "spy" part. Although I'm sure all this isn't doing anything to kill the "he's really a timelord" fanwank. Which, seriously? Please let it be true, because it would be so cool and I think it could be used to explain a lot of the DW stuff on TW and it really would be so cool.

But Gareth would then need to remember that time lords don't eat pies, only jellybabies.

They can't. They just...can't. He's too...too...no. No way. Could you see anyone else on that team trying to fulfill his duties? Could you see the writers pulling off finding a suitable replacement? Not going to happen.

At this point I'd prefer them not mess with the cast at all at the end of this season. Except Gwen. Her character is not fulfilling its role, and she can go. Eve seems lovely, but her character is just horrible.

I really do believe this is one of the best plot developments the show has ever gone with. Even though Ianto was meant to be killed off/done away with in season one, it gels with the first episode, Cyberwoman, and everything past that. I always had a weird feeling Ianto might have had an agenda, and this answers it perfectly. Aaaaand it sets a precedence on when their sexcapades began.

Haha. Oh wait. Does this mean you're Chris Chibnall then? Or psychically connected to him? ooh-er.
