- THIS HAPPENED:
Best get that out of the way first and foremost, yeah? Right... now stop looking at the mankissing and get on with it. ANOTHER CUTE JACK/IANTO SCENE? You are SO spoiling us, ambassador. And what's this? Again, it's Jack taking things to a level Ianto obviously wasn't quite expecting, and yet again leaving Ianto at a loss for words. (NICE to see Ianto actually initiating a kiss btw, it kills that squick I still have over the whole Boss/Teaboy issue nicely, thank you writers.) I like how the whole scene was again slightly subtextual, leaving Ianto not quite sure as to what it was Jack was saying to him, but realising it was a declaration of some sorts, vague and noncommittal as it may have been in a way, but probably worthy of a snog nonetheless. Sweetness. Bless. - Am I the only one getting a REAL VIBE off Tosh/Owen in a role reversal kind of way? Is he going to end up pining for her? Is one of my predictions going to come true on the "In your dreams, monkeyboy" sense? Oh, I do hope so.
- Speaking of my L33T predicting skillz, yah, Ianto is going to dump Jack. BIGTIME. (Maybe even episode 7, like I done said.) I'm SO RIGHT.
- Again, Gwen didn't bug me as much. Not that I'm starting to like her or anything.
- I wish I had something to say about the plot, but I don't. It was reasonably tight (up until the psychic projection, obviously, I've kind of written that bit out in my head already, because really, please. No.), but too reminiscent of CJH and loads of time travel stories. Stuff we've basically seen before. It didn't thrill me, and a spooky abandoned hospital? No, I've never seen that before. You don't have a duty to slay me with originality, writers, but do like a bit of effort, KTHNX.
- Loved the boy, though. he was sweet, and totally the sort of boy I would approve of Tosh bringing home to the Hub if I were in charge of approving of that sort of thing.
- I AM TELLING YOU NOW, I AM GOING TO HATE NEXT WEEK'S CRACKFEST WITH A PASSION BORDERING ON FERVOUR.

They like throwing that sort of thing at us and reminding us that Torchwood filming just consists of day after day and take after take after take of GRATUITOUS MANKISSING. It's in the contract Russell makes them sign.
