Seriously, dudes, that office scene was the most adorkable thing I've seen on telly in a long time. GDL should win awards for his handwavey, dismissive, yes-fine-I'll-go-on-a-date-with-you-but-only-if-you-promise-to-go-away-and-stop-talking-to-me-you-strange-strange-man reaction. Totally not what I was expecting, but totally excellent.

I am so with you on this. I'm sure everyone will be all aflail with the Jack/Ianto stuff, but the main source of my flailing is just how very good GDL is and how nice it is they've noticed and thus given him things to do. That scene on paper was funny, but the execution was quite quite glorious.

Plus now we all know that while Saxon was pulling his arms off for a year, Jack was shouting 'IIIAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNTOOOOOOOOOOOO' in an hilarious emo fashion. This tickles me.
