Jeremy Kyle this morning featured a Welsh couple. They had comedic, bordering on frankly unreal accents. The woman (Rose! LOL) had only one top tooth, just slightly outside the middle. I think it was because she had an unfortunate mouth that I kept imagining that she represented what Gwen Cooper would look like 20 years and 8 stone from now.
ANYWAY... They were on the show to do a lie detector test. Now, the woman was well aware that her boyfriend/husband? had had an affair, but she was still with him. The lie detector test, it soon emerged, was desired because she wanted to know if he and his mistress had had an*l sex. I put a star there, because the word was bleeped out, and throughout the rest of the segment Jeremy Kyle very professionally referred to it as "an unconventional sexual practice". Lolol. Jeremy grilled her on why she wanted to know this, as it was surely not the most relevant fact (the relevant fact being THAT HE HAD AN AFFAIR) and she eventually revealed, in her comedy Welsh accent "Because it's disgusting!" and she was going to leave him if he had. The lie detector test revealed that yes, he had in fact stuck it up her poop chute. To which he very loudly and Welshly protested "I never done it that way!". She decided she'd probably leave him. Or something. I couldn't quite work it out.
Now I don't know about anyone else but I was FUCKING MESMERISED by this segment. If chat shows could win awards for best Comedy Sketch Couple or indeed Best Ever Reason For Doing a Lie Detector Test, I would be voting for this HARD.
