I'm so tired I can't see straight. Give me sympathy and backrubs, internets, nobody else is going to.

Seriously, I don't know whether I'm coming or going. I keep zoning out entirely, at which point Beckett hits me. I'm afraid to take Millie up and down the stairs in case I fall. I haven't even got the energy to put the laundry away that's been lying around the house all week.
*goes to put the laundry away and possibly fall over*

one thing that i keep having to learn is that taking care of yourself is hard work, just as much as taking care of someone else. so you have to schedule it just like any other errand: 'take child to day care. pick up laundry. treat self to a triple-chocolate fudge sundae / hire sitter and have four hours soaking in the bath'.

anyway, i do hope it gets better soon. *sends you a virtual backrub*

In the 6.5 hours since I wrote that, I went to the shops with 2 kids, cleaned the kitchen, cooked a sausage and lentil casserole from scratch, cleaned the kitchen again and did the dishes, tidied the front room, hung up two loads of laundry, folded about 4 (funnily still not put it away), ironed, tidied Beckett's room, had a bath with Beckett, cleaned his teeth, got his pyjamas on, took him to bed, read him Where The Wild Things Are and fed Millie about 5 times.

Hoping for an hour to myself on Monday.
