Yay, they're repeating Torchwood and I can't resist.

So: Everything Changes, random thing I noticed apart from the usual OMGLookitTehWoobie thing: Gwen finds Team TW capturing a Weevil. And I mean ALL of them. She follows the SUV afterwards and it stops, letting out Jack, Owen, Suzie and Tosh. Then it drives off.

That is excellent, not only does it take four members of Team TW to deal with ONE Weevil in episode one, but said four members are then happy to leave that Weevil in the SUV. With Ianto.

Yah, koz Ianto can make Weevil behave with his Bitch!face as seen in End of Days (someone else pointed this out recently) and it was slow day. Ho-hum.

Well, exactly, later on we're supposed to believe that Ianto can silence a Weevil with a look, but it takes all of team TW actually ABANDONING THE HUB ENTIRELY to deal with one Weevil in a jumpsuit. Maybe it was all a ploy to impress Gwen.

And why did Ianto have to drop them off in the first place? Surely he's driving the SUV into the Hub somwewherez and then unloading the Weevil. Couldn't they wait and take the same route, or are his suspicions justified and they really do hate him so much, that they're all "Hey, Ianto, drop us here, we're going for a bagel WITHOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU SUCK AND CLEAN UP OUR SHIT, YUS, so please be dealing with the Weevil while we abandon you".
