*Why does Ten have such great chemistry with pretty much anyone who isn't Rose? Last week it was Mickey, this week Mrs. Moore. They had a jolly nice chat, a quick moral debate about Cybermens and stuff, and they just generally hit it off quite well. Every episode seems to be throwing "better companion material than Rose" at us. Why is that?
*Rose and Pete: SQUICK again. And then Rose's little speech to Mickey when he announces he's staying. Yes, Rose is meant to be portrayed as a selfish little whining slut bitch. At least Billie seemed to be confirming this in the Confidential, but then Billie also seems to be convinced the Doctor is in love with Rose, and I'm not seeing that on screen from DT, I'm really not. (I am trying, honest, I am)
*Mickey: saved the day! Mickey roolz. PLUS: Mickey went and got the suit for all us fangirls so Mickey IS A GOD. But is also a bit gay for Jake.
*I did dislike this episode again, BUT the entire scene with the Doctor talking to Idiot Mickey through the tv, was masterful and made me squee. It was proper Old Skool Who, and Tennant really took on the whole scene with proper fanboy glee, which redeems him somewhat in my eyes, because I thought he was generally a bit flat in this two-parter.
*Did I mention I h8 Rose? I think I may have done. And I h8 that she has a magic phone from a parallel universe with magic Cybus interfacing technology. That's magic that is.
*At least I was prepared for the deus ex machina by means of earlier posted picture of Ten and that thingy, but it still sucked somewhat.
