Oooh, I am restless today.

I am looking for a new job as I have handed in my notice. A very long and complicated story that has been brewing for months, but anyways. That's made me a bit twitchy, though not unpleasantly so.

I have also been meaning to get round to doing LJ things which I still haven't done, because I'm lazy. I was going to do a Game Highlights thing, which was going to be a website, but I looked into free hosting and it's all just crapulent at the moment, so I'm still debating that one. ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GOOD, RELATIVELY AD FREE, FREE WEBSPACE? Needn't be big or bandwidth heavy. Preferably FTPable and none of this online software shit that you used to get everywhere.

Also, I am still debating starting a community, which is the fault of qthewetsprocket, specifically aimed at the over-30 female population, where we can feel free to perv over well-under-30 men without fear of repercussions or feeling like dirty old women. This all probably stemming from a discussion, as you will have come to expect from me, about Gareth David Lloyd's mouth (OHGODTHEREGOMYKNICKERSAGAIN). Probably the only reason I haven't yet done so is because I know that when I do, I shall start it off by posting a very long, wordy essay entitled "Why I Listen To McFly". Also: I have no idea what I would call it. So: Good? Bad? Old ladies, what do you think?

McFly are BOYROCK at it's toppermost best. That's all you really need to know. They shouldn't do covers, I agree, but then you can say that about most bands.

BOYROCK is the best thing in the world. It makes me happy in my face. And Tom McFly has actually managed to crank out a few genuine gems, if you know where to look. Plus, he keeps doing that Flock of Seagulls thing with his hair and that's just too cute, because he wasn't even BORN back then. BLESS THEM.

As an old lady in tree rings alone I vote for the name midlifesquee, or something along those lines. I do feel awfully old, and sometimes embaressed at my squeeing, at times, but I never got the chance, or had the technology to do it over Mark Hamill when I was actually the "proper" age to do it. What is the proper age anyway? I am 34 fgs - I am not dead! Worst moment was when I realised I was at the upper age limit for entry into the Friday Night Project :-O

I like midlifesquee, that's quite good.

I'm only 32 myself, I think this whole thing came about because of all the 16-year-old Drose shippers in this fandom. They have a way of suddenly making one feel very, very old indeed.

Yet at the same time, I want to be able to state for the record that I would like to lick GDL all over, without fear of being lumped in with them.

I am very with you. All for one, one for all, all for GDL etc etc. Intellectual debate, is good, I can do that ... as long as I can let out the occasional muffled squeal. As for the 16 year olds .. pah! For once the Doctor is my age, baby! My face is happy at the thought of a public licking of GDL. We could all have a go :)

I find now that I am in my thirties, my mind is actually filthier than I ever imagined it could be back when I was, say, 25. On the whole, I think this is a good thing. I think it shall be my first topic of intellectual debate. *ponders*

I find that I allow myself more dark wanderings than I dare think about at 25. We have more of an acceptance of our bodies, our personalities and our lusts. Also don't forget that 35-45 is our prime sexual time - the boys get to peak at 19 - we should be cooing over the youngsters, biologically it's correct!

As a mere slip of a thing, I have no comment on your community for lustful over-30-type ladies (except that communities of lust are almost always a Good Thing), but I would like to say that ianto_jones is being hella distracting lately. It's really quite unfair.
