Okay, so, anyway, after hearing what an adorable dork Sebastian Stan was at his first con, insisting on hugging everyone and throwing things at Mackie and basically being a doofus and annoying the staff by giving things away and taking hours discussing and carrying out stupid adorable photo poses:






And walking into walls and such:



I have decided I am now officially on board with a possible Stupid!Face Bucky!Cap. Seb still has a stupid face, but by God he's fan-friendly. And I could probably grow to love it, let's face it.

BUT... only after this happens:



Yeah, that's one comic frame actually illustrating two caveats, Cap saying " Avengers assemble" and Cap lifting Mjolnir. Basically, if, after all the rumours I've heard, the Cap lifting Mjolnir thing, doesn't happen, I am going to cut a bitch. For real. Oh, and also, if you could do the Bucky!Cap thing without actually killing Steve dead, that would be a huge bonus. And also, since we have no Spiderman in our universe, please find a suitable replacement character who will forever insist on referring to Bucky!Cap as "BuckyCap", much to Bucky!Cap's annoyance. Falcon could do it, maybe?

Oh, so you were aware of this too! I have been talking with Tumblr friends about this, specifically the girl with the afro above. She said the staff were actually being incredibly rude in their insistences (no hugs, even when Sebastian and Anthony wanted to, no special autographs, even when they wanted to, etc. etc., to the point where Sebastian was getting seriously annoyed at them.

I like Sebastian a heck of a lot more after seeing all of this.

I have decided I am on board for this huggy dork. And Mackie. I want a Bucky/Falcon buddy movie. And then Bucky!Cap. As long as Steve doesn't die.

Oh, yeah, I'm pretty much convinced Steve is toast in Avengers 3. They can't continue pretending there is any level of peril if no one ever really dies, and, well, obviously it's Steve.

I have faith that Cap will pull a Buffy if Whedon decides to kill him. at least that's what I tell myself. Plus, you know, both Steve dead and Steve resurected is canon, so that is my safety blanket.

At this moment in time I think it's hard to find a Marvel character that hasn't died and came back from it being okay.

As with all Hollywood movies, he'll lose his virginity, then die. So at least he'll die happy? I don't really mind, to be honest, he's bound to come back because, you know, movie money. My biggest fear is actually that a) Ultron will hack Stark the moment they meet and thus b) Steve/Tony won't happen.

I still think they might make Steve Bi for Bucky. I don't think that's an impossibility.
