I think maybe I've come to the conclusion that Gosselaar is Bash, but don't quote me on it.

It's TOTALLY STUPID and brainless. It might just appeal to me becuase it's on really late here, and I may be slightly overtired and tipsy every time I watch it. But Gosselaar! And Malcolm McDowell as Mr. Belding. Well, that's what we think he's called, anyway. He sits behind a desk a lot.

Watching it now. Gosselaar is Peter Bash and the guy from Clueless is Jared Franklin.

When you have children the man is called "Jon from Garfield." Also: I KNEW he was Bash. This is why D calls the show Saved by the Bash.

(I never even watched Saved by the Bell, by the way. Hated it with a passion. VERY popular in Holland, though. Maybe because of Gosselaar, I don't know.)

Well, yeah, pretty much. I seem to recall he did a few peanut butter adverts or something when he was little, he speaks Dutch, so he's got one of these reassuring Dutch celebrity faces. We don't have many actual people on the telly so when you recognise one, you tend to point and shout at the screen and go WE KNOW THAT GUY!!! We do it with Famke Jansen as well.

I only needed to hear "Mark Paul Gosselar's naked ass" to know that I would be tuning in. Shallow, I know, but having seen it I know that it was fully worth it. Plus the show has turned out to be funny summertime fun. Ridiculous for a legal show, sure, but fun nevertheless.
