Seriously, though, there were Weevils. And that was EPIC. And great. And stuff.

Russell has made me hugely fearful of finales and I can't quite shake a niggling doubt that this will fizzle out into absolute crap that makes no sense and features some sort of flying Jesus dwarf. BUT IT WON'T!! TRUST ME. IT WILL BE EPIC AND WONDERFUL. Bits of this actually made sense... there was... GASP... seriously, someone actually put some THOUGHT into this and crafted a story as opposed to throwing ALL THE MONSTERS EVER at the screen and hoping we won't notice the mess.

THAT WAS FUCKING ACE.

YES. I LIKED THAT IT DIDN'T FEEL LIKE A MESS. It felt crafted.

I love Eleven. And Amy Pond. And Amy Pond's fiancee who's name escapes me, and I keep thinking of as Shaggy Hair. Shaggy Hair has definitely grown on me. I LOVE how both Amy and Shaggy get to go off and have adventures and figure things out on their own. I love the relationship between Eleven and Shaggy, how it's varying degrees of admiration and jealousy on both sides and so much better than the Ten and Mickey relationship. I love that it's clear Amy really does care about Shaggy (after the Amy's Choice episode), and she's not just settling for second best.

I've decided to slow down and watch the US release schedule because I actually like seeing it on a TV rather than on my laptop screen, but I've liked all the episodes so far except Vampires in Venice, which was B-Movie cheesy in some parts because it was easier than thinking up something that made sense (giant fish killed by the minor sunlight bouncing off a hand mirror! a huge storm that stops immediately!). All Moffat-written episodes have been miles above anything RTD produced, IMO.

Love eleven. Not so enamoured with the 'shaggy' / Amy story line. Theoretically it's great trouble is in practice not enough Shaggy just being there as a companion rather than a plot point and not enough of them together minus does she like the Doctor better or dead!shaggy angst to pull me in.

That was brilliant and I can't wait for next week. It's not just that it's got a strong story (and has had throughout the series), it's also that the story has allowed the actors to develop their characters, consistently and Matt, in particular, has just soared. He's fast moving up my list of favourite Doctors.

HAHAHA - it was awesome. Stonehenge, romans who weren't romans, spaceships, everyone ganging up on the Doctor. Hallucinogenic lipstick (i want some)

AND a blue alien had Jack's hand in a box and sold it to River Song. Genius!

All the things I thought I knew about the episode... I didn't. And it is the best cliffhanger in ever.

Although? I was sorry to see the daleks. Yes, I know they had a part in the plan, but I was so looking forward to a finale without daleks, I really was.

Those last few minutes with Eleventy seriously made me cry. And Amy and her bit at the end made me cry.

I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS FOR A WEEK. I NEED RESOLUTION, DAMNIT.

You know what's cool? Knowing I'm very likely to be HAPPY with how it turns out, rather than bitterly disappointed :)

I don't care what anyone says, I'm pretty much loving everything. Even Amy. I don't care if she has issues. I like her issues. I don't feel like anyone is telling me I have to like her. I just do. And if I didn't, I get the impression that that's okay too. Yay!

Holy crap, Auton!Rory! is blowing my mind. Are we going to get a plastic companion next season, because that would be pretty damn cool.

I can't wait for people to call "deux ex machina" if Moff hits some sort of reset button because, hello, he's been setting this up since episode one, people. It isn't duex ex machina if it didn't come out of nowhere, or doesn't mess with the internal logic of the story, *cough*typical RTD ending*cough*.

Then again, who knows how the hell this is going to end? I just have a very good feeling I'm going to like it. I also suspect that there will be real consequences that play out appropriately, and aren't thrown under a rug or overblown to bizarrely epic proportions.

In short, In Moff I trust.
