Umm, if any of you want to say bye now to my Ianto layout, now's the time, I'm fiddling with the CSS as we speak.

Bye now, Ianto. *sniff*

Check out my festive icon, dudes.

End of an era, it is.

Made the mistake of watching the Inside the Tardis special on BBCA - RTD is such a fuckwit. I am so over it all.

As they say...it is definitely time to move on. Ianto will always be in our hearts, but life goes on.

*waves* bye layout, you were good, while it lasted.

Welcomes new change with open arms :)

Change is a Good Thing, and I'm sure the King of Badassery will make an appearance now and again as an icon.

Not wrong at all. It's like a layout version of crack!fic. You know you shouldn't but it somehow makes sense.

You have to say bye-bye to Ianto properly rather than casting him aside like a used up plot device.

Who's next? Sue or Sheldon?

I've come to the acceptance of Ianto's death in the wake of the "report" debacle. I started my first rewatch of the series post-CoE, and I've decided that fucking Jack diverted so much blood from Ianto's brain to his crotch that his death was inevitable. The sex made him stupid; he went from cunning dino dangler, capable of secreting a cyber conversion unit into TW3, to an idiot incapable of the most basic use of LoJac or reason. He transformed from Ninja Teaboy to Bella Swan.

Alas, poor Ianto-layout, I will miss thee and all the false promise of GDL hoisting the BFG!

PS: Shitter's Full!

Oh, i say, steady on!

He still got to be devious towards the end of S2. May I present as evidence "Adrift" - sexin' the boss, and disobeyin' the boss - at the same time.

It was post S2 where it all got a bit wifie-woobie.

Completely agreed! Some of the best Ianto moments (stungun to the head, anyone?) were S2. Maybe it was the combination of too much sex and not having Owen around to keep his alpha senses sharpened!

I must confess I find Ianto with a stungun pretty damn hot.

Too much sex, too much pheromoans [sic], and not enough healthy competition.

I agree. That stungun scene was just bad ass!

Interesting how Ianto's biggest badassery moment in COE (apart from his ninja shorthand translation skills) happened while Jack was encased in cement. Ianto was no longer under Jack's sexy influence. I think you're on to something...

Love your Holiday icon; I watch the Christmas Vacation every year.

Oh, Ianto layout we barely knew ye. Not really, but I've always wanted to say that.

Awwww... I will miss everything about this layout of yours. If only fandom could have made it all better, instead of Even Worse.

(Here's one vote for a Christmas Vacation layout as transition. Have some holiday fun before making the real change for the new year.)

Cheers, Ianto! *knocks back a shot* /Irish!wake

Awww, I did love that layout. This one is a lovely holiday one though. If we're rehashing feelings about Ianto, I'm feeling this weird disdain for him lately. Like, you died, what good were you, forget it!

to be fair, he did cut off Jack's philosophy and go blam blam blam, just a shame neither of them had the smarts enough to carry a gasmask....

RIP Ianto :( I will always remember you.

Hello to the new layout and the dawn of a new era :) and possibly some Doctor Who bashing if the new companion turns out to be just like Rose, Martha and Ianto in the hero-worship compartment.

Discovering Merlin has helped me to move on in recent weeks, oh and looking forward to seeing Gareth in The Bill on January 21st.

Ah, but you forget. Moffat can actually write, and develop characters realistically. I think RTD has been in charge so long we've forgotten what good writing is.

:( It's so hard to say goodbye. Poor Ianto. *sniff* I shall always remember him as a kick-ass teaboy and not as the fangrrrrl woobie-wanker.

But enough of tears. More Griswold please:

"Hey. If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is. Hallelujah. Holy shit. Where's the Tylenol?"

I'll always remember him fondly.I even refuse to hold his ludicrous, reduced to a plot device death against him. So much wasted potential and yet he still managed to mostly bring the awesome. So RIP, Ianto. We hardly knew ya and yet you still managed to steal our hearts.

I'm so sad I'm going to sulk rather than comment.

No - hang on - I'm a woman, I can do both.

But seriously. End of an era. Am really sad.

Bye-bye for now Ianto layout. C'mon, it's Sci-fi, ya never know... Just kidding.

I'll have to admit, putting embarrassment & recriminations aside, the whole Ianto dying fallout has been pretty damn impressive! All that over a minor character no one in the production aside from Gareth seemed to think much about.

It is time to move on. I'm loving this transition. Christmas Vacation always was a big hit with my family.

Confession time...I may, or may not have had a small crush on Johnny Galecki at the time. Kinda sorta. eek

I forgot to deck out Bernard for the holidays. Ah, well. He wouldn't like it anyway. Probably set the hat on fire then bitch about wasting good wine as an excelerant.
