I have a *friend that is so much like Sheldon, it's eerie (and often hilarious). Only he shaves his head (<http://usera.imagecave.com/nuptse/07.jpg">but still looks remarkably Sheldonesque), he's from New Orleans instead of Galveston, and his area of expertise is neuroscience and molecular physics (multiple degrees.) But the borderline AS, OCD and ADD are all identical. I've been trying to get him to watch BBT for a long time, but his not having a TV hampers things (he watches tv on his computer via bitorrent etc). I've been threatening to trap him at my house and make him watch it, but he only watches movies and shows on 2x speed with subtitles and I don't have that kind of technology. I haven't seen him in a few days because he decided to take all the siding off his house to upgrade and inspect all the wiring in his house (for maximum efficiency).
The poor lamb. I'd hate him irl, but I love him on the tv. And want to comfort him/proposition that we engage in mutually pleasurable activities for the release of tensions and the increase in productivity that would bring. This would possibly involve charts.
Yes, Dollhouse is no more, but at least BBT got another episode pick-up recently. More Sheldon! That's always a good thing (well, probably not for his on-screen entourage ;) ).
Shelly is my TV boyfriend, too. It's the only show that I thoroughly enjoy. After TW I tried quite a few new shows, but none of them piqued my interest for more than a couple of episodes. The only other show I watched all two seasons within a few days/weeks was True Blood, although I'm not even into vampires or the supernatural. Its huge success fills me with some glee, because I think TW had the similar potential to become a hit with a really talented showrunner like Alan Ball, who actually loves his characters for a change and is not some self indulgent brat.
I didn't watch Dollhouse and have no clue what it is/was really about or if it was any good.
Um...can you email me...do you still have my email address?
I know I haven't posted here in a while, and hate that I missed great wank over TW, which I still haven't had the time to see...and DW, which I don't know if I have the guts to watch...but I need to talk to you about this...it's part of the reason I haven't posted this summer...I think I just need to ease my mind about something.

I wish that was a real board game.
