But the 40 and under guys don't seem to mind (thought you must be at least 25). At 46, RTD, even if straight would be much, much too old for me! Not to mention too arrogant, and too ill-mannered.
RTD is older than that, 48 or 49. Not that it normally matters to me, I just don't feel inclined to give him an inch.
I don't know what the US speed limit is, but here it's 70 miles an hour, so if you are nearing that age, and dating men under 40, well I have lots of respect!

So on a one time only basis, I'm using a picture of me taken two months ago in Prague. I only stopped getting carded in bars in the last few years. The downside, I often feel like Doogy Howser, business exec. Try getting anyone to take you seriously when you are female, short and look 12 years old. And sometimes those young men freak when they realize they are dating someone old enough to be their mother!
I'm not taking any credit for the youthful looks - its my father's family gene pool. Unfortunately it also comes with 3 types of cancer and strokes. Frankly, I'd trade it for a few more wrinkles.
Nice pic! I have the same thing of looking much younger than I am which I love of course, but the only thing I don't like is how many of my friends and work colleagues assume I'm a decade or so younger, then the subject comes up and they ask me my age. I always hate that moment as I won't lie, but kind of enjoy letting them think it, and some have thought it for years before knowing!
Anyhow I do think RTD may have shaved a couple of years off.
the gender stuff between gita and haresh bothered me a lot more than the age thing, to be honest...'pull yourself together' indeed. gareth roberts appears to be writing from the same '1950's sitcom' handbook as rtd when it comes to gender relations. anyway, all kids think their parents having a sexuality is icky, so i'm not too bothered at clyde and luke's reactions. at least rani thought it was sweet (so did i, really, i'd like to see peter as a recurring character).
plus, it could be that peter really loves her, and was just a victim of the trickster. that's what i'm hoping for anyway; we'll have to wait till next week to see.
I just remembered something -- the godawful 'Planet of the Dead' was co-written by RTD and Gareth Roberts. And if this is the kind of stuff Gareth Robert comes up with now then I'm going to stay well away from his work.
You might be pleased to hear that the SFX website has given 'The Waters of Mars' a rave review, saying it's very different from Planet of the Dead, thank goodness.
First episode of Girl Number 9 went by verrry quickly (more like 4 minutes than 5) but it's production values and the cast were very good.
