Yeah, okay, so I have a bit of an irrational dislike of Barrowman, just generally. I know that makes me unpopular in certain circles. But you have to admit that's bad hair. Why do they always do one promo pic in each series of promos that has his hair sticking up like that? It's weird.

You know when I see his hair spikey like that I don't see Captain Jack, I see that as more of a Barrowman hair style not a character Captain Jack style.

It looks weirdly photoshopped to me. Not that all of these promo shots haven't been photoshopped at bit, but in the rest of them his hair is more "shaggy" than "spiky" - and matches the flatter stuff by his left ear.

It's either a failure of makeup or of hair I think as that hair's usually sported by a younger looking face...Half of male twenty-somethings/early thirty-somethings on American TV have the sticking up hair going on.

Hear, hear. The best hair Jack every got, was the first ep, when he was soaking wet in the rain. I actually didn't recognize him as Barrowman (the rain gave him a very different look, much prettier), but that instant, I decide to like that character.
