This is ALLEGEDLY Scott Gill in his speedos. (I have no way of confirming this, as it's a photo I stole from google's cache of an unnamed fan's Livejournal. It could be John Barrowman and a completely different man in speedos. It could be NOT John Barrowman and a completely different man in speedos. Hell, maybe they're not even speedos. I didn't take the picture, I have no way of knowing.)

I guess, you know, if you like that sort of thing... I'm not really a speedo gal myself. This, allegedly, is the photo John Barrowman didn't want posted to the internet because OMG PANTS! I put it to John Barrowman that if you, or your partner, don't want photos of yourselves in your pants posted on the internet, it would probably be wise to not show yourself in your pants to a group of paying and photographing punters. You're both grown men, so fucking act like grown men already. The original poster of this picture took down the picture at John's request, so good for her, she is blameless in all of this. I, on the other hand, don't give a flying fuck what John Barrowman requests of anyone, as he is not, in any way shape or form, "my liege." So there you go. I'm posting this picture of these two men who may or may not be John Barrowman and Scott Gill. In what may or may not be speedos.

For the record, hearsay would have it that the big super special secrets John allegedly didn't want anyone to know about are that he was allegedly involved in a car accident at the weekend. Why on earth he was allegedly driving a car with torn ligaments and allegedly high on pain medication is anyone's guess, and perhaps this is why he allegedly didn't want people to know about it. Again, if you don't want people to know about it, I'd suggest NOT TELLING A GREAT BIG BUNCH OF PAYING PUNTERS. Allegedly. The other secret is that he's allegedly trying to flog one of his allegedly godawful entertainment/variety shows to a US network, so good luck with that, dude.

THAT'S IT. THERE ARE NO OTHER SUPER SPECIAL SEKRITS FROM TORCHSONG, no matter what any of John's super special sekrit friends may be hinting at. Fascinating, weren't they? Allegedly.

I haven't always agreed on your posts in the past (I almost never comment, anyway) but this one deserves a thumb up. It's rude, in its own way, but WAY less rude than Barrowman's manipulative, fan-servicing, self-indulging schemes.

Hey I was there and that is John and Scott. Scott has nothing to be ashamed of and should henceforth only wear small swimming trunks out in public.
I'm glad someone mentioned the "big secret" that we were asked to keep quiet about. I, too, am wondering what the hell he was out driving when supposably he wasn't to be doing anything but resting his foot. And it's not like he didn't have other people there to do the driving for him. It's been 3 days now so I'm surprised this hasn't come out by now. I mean, the police in Cardiff were involved afterall.

After this weekend, the gleam on his star has diminished for me. I will never again pay large sums of money in order to see him in person again. I still "like" the guy but it'll never be the same between us again. (Does that sound pathetic or what?)

How incredibly bizarre that he was driving a car with a completely busted ankle on pain meds. Can that really be right? Somehow I'm really skeptical about that whole story.

If he wanted no pics, they should have said so up front, not after the fact. Scott should never be seen in anything other than a Speedo, it's clear.

To me, it seems like a considerable distance from "guest backs up con's no-cameras policy" to "Barrowman personally asks fan to remove Speedos photo from Web". But behold, the seven-league boots of gossip can bridge any gap!

From all accounts, though, the tone would appear to have been much closer to the latter than the former. The con's no cameras policy was not enforced in any way, and yet again it was specifically Barrowman who used the whole "If you love me you won't tell anyone because they wouldn't understand and I might get into trouble" guilt trip after the fact on the fans present. It's not the first time he's done it, and every time it happens, it's Barrowman specifically who says it.

I have no idea if he was in a car accident or not, and wasn't at the con, so won't speculate on that, but flying long distance with a busted ankle risks a fatal blood clot, and whether you love or hate him, nobody surely would have wanted that to happen, (and no I'm not a doctor either, but it is well known that there is a risk of blood clots when flying in some circumstances)

First of all, John did his ankle by falling over in his garden and he wnet one way and his ankle went the other. If you are going to rant, at least get your facts right. He wasn't allowed to go because his ankle and leg was full of blood and it is dangerous to fly when you have that amount of blood in your leg.

Second, after having an injury similar to that, it is bloody painful. That kind of pain is enough to make you faint it is that bad. He was on very strong painkillers and when you are on strong painkillers, you are very out of it. People at the covention were warned by his mother that John would say things and have no idea he actually said them. So that is why people were asked to keep certain things quite. Also, his family got involved to try and make his behavior not look so mad and weird.

What i really don't get it, first people complain that he isn't there even though it wasn;t his fault that he wasn;t there and he wanted to be there. He goes out of his way to make everyone happy but that isn;t good enough either and then, he asks to keep certain things private and not to post certain things and you turn around and say, not taking everything into consideration, oh he should keep his mouth shut if he doesn;t want people to know. I mean, can he do anything right in your eyes? I suppose you are perfect and wouldn;t do anything like that. Frankly, go and get a life and leave him alone.
