Yeah, okay, so I'm a bitch, and...

I've grown to harbour a slight dislike of Tennant's trademark gurn, but seriously, squee brigade: He's got a slipped disc. He didn't do it just to spite you, I'm sure he feels terrible.
Now shut up about it, and go and see Hamlet anyway, your arse has obviously never hit a theatre seat before in your life, go let it. And just think, now you won't need to bug anyone at the stage door after the show like a pushy whiny child and you'll be able to go for a nice, civilised glass of Merlot instead.

Date: 2008-12-10 07:39 pm (UTC)anyway, what you said about the culture. all the reports i've heard are that the understudy is brilliant.
aside from the obvious agony involved with a slipped disc, though, i feel sorry for tennant (and whoever's looking after him) once he starts to recover. the poor boy's going to go mental once he starts to feel better but isn't quite well enough to work. can you imagine, sitting there in bed with all that accustomed energy festering inside you? i hope he has plenty of very loud video games, or something.
