START A NEW LIVEJOURNAL ACCOUNT

for your Tweets and you can read them back to your heart's content. But we all don't have to friend it, yeah? Just planting seeds...

ETA: Better yet, get together with a bunch of your Twitter-minded friends and LoudTwitter the lot of your Tweets to ONE Livejournal community. That, at least, would get the lot off our friendspages, and, if you're lucky, might produce an interesting piece of postmodern art. I don't know if LoudTwitter would let you do that, but I bet it would, all it wants is a URL, right?

You should do what you want, allthough I am genuinely ineterested to know why so many people feel the need to feed them through to their LJ's. They are a collection of random thoughts and half-sentences from people's lives and they're usually either simply confusing or feel vaguely voyeuristic. Like I said, I understand if people want to save them, I'm sure they have their reasons, but maybe a sub-journal would be better.

Better yet, maybe a bunch of like-minded people could get together and feed them to a community of some sort? That might be way more random and fun, because you'd get a collection of thoughts from several people in one place. I don't know if that LoudTwitter thing would let you do that, though.

You can only twitter to your main journal, not to a community, so that's that plan foiled!

And they get fed through LJ simply for the fact that, like you said, they *don't* get archived anywhere, so it's nice to have them on LJ.
