Okay, they're getting WAYYY spoilery now. Just one pic, taken by Alun Vega at DWF again.

AAAAAAHHHH THE HUB!! Oh noes. No Hub or equipment does explain the pickpocketing seen in earlier filming, though. But still. AAAAAAHHH MY BEAUTIFUL HUB!!!!

So, yes, anyway, this was set up yesterday evening for filming today. It's caused quite a lot of people to vow to take a trip to the Plass today, so we should be getting plenty of pics about 12 hours from now-ish? Of people perhaps being a bit filthy? Mmmmmm. Nice.

Hmmm, I really don't think the show went to any great lengths to disguise Gareth's weight gain, especially seeing as how GD-L reported the Makeup Dept. made attempts to disguise JB's physical imperfections in "Adrift," but none to hide his, and it was quite obvious (in that episode) that he had gained a significant amount of weight. As for "Fragments," I simply thought the warehouse scenes (interior and exterior) were filmed much earlier than the park and pier scenes. Of course, I have no idea about the actual filming timelines, I’m just hazarding a guess. On a tangential note, the Ianto lover in me wants to yell at the Wardrobe Dept. and ask why have they not gone to the trouble of having his current wardrobe altered to fit. Everything seems too roomy, too big, somewhat sloppy, so non-Ianto…

Yeah, they could at least have hemmed them in. I hope that Gareth stays thin for series 4 (if there is one) and that they put him in clothes that fit. It's not fair that he lost all that weight and he has to wear clothes that are too big.

Maybe it's for the plot. All of Ianto's nicely tailored suits got blowed up (you see, he had been to the dry cleaners that day and naturally brought all of his suits in with him on his way to work) and he's forced to wear his "fat clothes". It's possible. Or he's had to run way too much (as evidenced by many outside shoots) and during the course of the five episodes, you can see him practically waste away...

Or the BBC's just too cheap to take in a few spots here and there.
