EXACTLY. Makes me crazy. I would've loved to hear Ianto talk to Martha, esp. since they seem to have a good connection.

There should've been NO EMO wailing for once. JESUS.

I will comfort myself with the fact that Ianto seems to be especially fit now and will stare at his pinstriped ass.


GOD, IS SEASON THREE HERE YET?

Season three is ages away! And much though I wish it, fanfic is NOT canon and just isn't the same - I want the screen, damnit!

All I can do is hope that when it DOES arrive, Season Three removes Emo-Ianto forever and instead spends its time dealing with how gorgeous he is and putting our minds at rest with respect to the Jack/Ianto!

I keep consoling myself with the fact that Jack and Ianto are getting a ton of screen time between them, and not including Gwen all the time, which is a nice change.

Also, according to Julie Gardner, we're going to learn a lot more about Ianto's back story and about him as a character.

The story looks good too. Pity we won't see any of it for at least six months, and I'm reading the books now to get something canon-flavored, though they're not terribly well-written.

I love this part, though. The talking to other fans about it and just sharing the love and stories. Good times. :D

If the filming shots are anything to go by, the ENTIRE series consists of Ianto, with or without Jack, running around in sexy clothes saving the world. I COULD NOT BE MORE OK WITH THIS. Although I suspect it might be slightly skewed by the people who are taking and posting the photos? We all know tencrush loves GDL...

GAH why do we have to wait for APRIL?! Although you're right, obsessing over Torchwood is almost as good as watching it. And the long hiatus just means we have more time to over-analyse (again) past episodes for lack of anything new...I steer clear of the books. I just don't need my family to catch me reading them...!

YES. Unlike a lot of fandom, I don't hate Gwen at all. I do hate, however, that TW is more like The Gwen Show (TM) and that gets aggravating. I want to see more of Jack as a person, I want to see more interaction with Jack/Ianto and not just little clips and innuendo. I want to see what they're like when they're not working and fucking.

I'm assuming it's going to be April, I hear that it will be Spring 2009 for Torchwood, but that hasn't been released.
