Ianto gets first kissings, that's good, yeah? Though I'd like Ianto to have piped up to Gwen and said "they're freaking Daleks, it's their catchphrase, RTFM, bint", because surely, it's not like it wouldn't be well documented even in TW3 the whole Cybermans and Daleks debacle at TW Towers, right?

Observery and speculatory observation: it's about Daleks fighting EACH OTHER in some way, right? I mean Khan's and Davros' lot. Surely? Or not? I don't know, this seems somehow plausible to me.

Watch the trailer for more gratuitous Luke than you can shake a stick at. I shouldn't be excited by one so young.

ETA: ALSO: Should I be excited by the prospect of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog? Because I kind of am, but I'm not quite sure why.

I would like her if they managed to write her as likeable and not such a selfish cow. I can like her every so often, when she is opposite Rhys mostly but then they stuff her up.

Um, so why do they keep telling us all the time that she is the heart of the team? A selfish cow wouldn't be the heart of anything. She is very inconsistently written at times, or badly directed.

I never watch Declassifieds and just go with what's on screen, which is Gwen wanting to be the heart of the team because she thinks she's the only one that cares, and her failing at that because she's a bit of a cow.

Am I the only one who thought the grab-and-kiss was a little weird? It's just that if I were Gwen or Ianto I would be all, "OY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT FOR?" But it was kind of a cute mother-hen-y moment from Jack. Though I really, really hope we get the TW team in the TARDIS; that would make the episode for me.

It was slightly odd, yes. I'm kind of assuming that's about as shippy as it'll get on the Jack/Ianto front, just enough difference in his interactions with Gwen and Ianto to show those of us that know that he's sleeping with Ianto, but for the non-TW crowd no noticeable interaction between Jack and Ianto that would lead you to conclude out of thin air that they're sleeping together, and certainly no mention of it.

I don't think they'll end up in the TARDIS, though God, that would make me squeal SO MUCH.

But it was you who had the theory, I believe, that everybody in the franchise needs to be on the TARDIS in case there's a reset ending so that the characters can all continue on the franchise even if a lot else changes. Which would necessitate the TW team being on the TARDIS.

Do we know if Gwen and Ianto are going to be in TSE and JE or just TSE?

That was my theory, yes, but I'm starting to doubt the whole reset button scenario. It could still happen, I guess, but I'm hearing talk that none of these guest stars actually meet or talk to each other.

I think everybody's going to be in both.

About 2.03 minutes into 'The Doctor Chats to NR' clip, DT mentions that it gets a bit squishy with 10 people in the TARDIS.
In the spoilery-piccitude of people, there were only 8. Which leaves Gwen and Ianto, I hope... (and not Luke+1 or something else just as random)

I love Liz Sladen so much. And her chemistry with Tommy Knight in a mother/son capacity is phenomenal. Oh god, I'm getting all weepy just thinking about that clip again. *tears*

I'm just so glad that Liz Sladen decided to come back to the franchise after being away for so long. All us newbies NEEDED to see the absolute awesomeness of SJS and then she gets the series that she so rightly deserves. *fist pump*

I really need to go back and watch SJA. I liked the pilot and completely meant to watch its run on SciFi, I just didn't get around to it. :(

I was watching the Friday Night Project episode with David Tennant on YouTube and he mentions that all of his "companions" will be in the tardis together and he specifically mentioned "John Barrowman, as well."
I don't think Gwen and Ianto will be there simply because I think (a)Rusty wants to frustrate us and not let there be any canon Doctor/Ianto and (b) it's a way of the Torchwood team "technically" being on Doctor Who, but not meeting the Doctor or his companions.
