I've only just realised there's an "is that a good sign" joke in Airplane 1 as well, to do with a no smoking sign. I still maintain that Airplane 2's visual setup of the doctor reading Striker's chart and talking to him about his progress whilst putting the chart back in the cubby with the "PLACE CHART HERE" sign and patting the sign fondly as Sriker asks him if that's a good sign is one of the best jokes ever to grace the cinematic screen. The doctor seems so FOND of the sign as well. Like he never knew where to put the chart before. "It does the job!"

There's also a "...but what is it?" "..., but that's not important now." joke in Airplane II. They love reusing stuff.

You could always go with Bridges vs Shatner, but Bridges was in 2 too, wasn't he?
