GDL's GREAT at subtle, I don't know why everyone kept having a go at him last season for being so OTT, because I never got that from him. He's marvellous. I actually give him a lot of credit for the way the relationship's developed on screen, I'm very impressed with what he's done with Ianto on the whole, he's definitely the most interesting and certainly the most consistent character in the show.
