Yesyesyes. *skips a bit* I found Adrift a bit, um, dull in terms of the A plot myself, but the Jack and Ianto stuff was just wonderfully done - not the sex scene (not that I'm complaining) but those two little moments (the unheard conversation after Jack's flounce, Ianto telling Gwen she has post) that are meaningless when we first see them but massively telling once you understand how to interpret them. And in a show that on occasion performs characterisation with a sledgehammer, to have something underwritten like that just delights me.
