Jack & Ianto scene very much says "we are an item" and you get the idea that Jack has 'moved on' from Gwen now. When Gwen walks in one them its very much played as if this is very much NOT part of Gwen's world but J&I's. I think you'll be impressed by the er... action ;-)
and both are very proactive in the story. For very different reasons...
I don't want to go into any details on this episode cos it is terrific and very very 'unraveling mystery' so spoilers would really ruin it I think.

In fact, that silly bouquet thing has me thinking the subtext I saw in SB might have actually, you know, been subtext and not my eyes seeing it through Janto-colored glasses. Or I am just seeing things. It's really crazy. I'm not a shipper by nature, but I really want to see those crazy kids give it a go.
