And to quote myself, the general niggle I have is this: The playing up of their sex games is starting to detract from any possible hints of depth to the relationship and is distracting me to the point of annoyance. Jokes are one thing, kink is fine, but you can take things too far, and that point has more or less been reached, unless you give me some depth to balance it out.
I do agree with this. Otherwise, I've been enjoying this "slow burn" thing, but the *nudge nudge* *wink wink* "wot's going on 'ere then" bit is getting a little old. It's like the writers are distracted by what new stopwatches they can throw into the mix and the double entendres they can think up and have forgotten a little about... well, the depth.
