Oh, dear god. THANK YOU. I am seriously on the verge of tears with all the fucking negativity in the fandom. I agree with most everything you said, I don't see at all where Jack is "using" Ianto, because honestly their relationship is quite privite. And I think Ianto wants it that way more than Jack, hence his "dabbling" comment to Martha. He'd only just met her, he's not going to spill his guts to her. (Although, I do believe that now Ianto & Martha are totally BFF and email all the time, hee.)
I just, I don't understand where all the negativity is coming from. Do people want to see this relationship torn apart? Are they only happy when they have something to bitch about? It doesn't make sense, really. Ignoring blatant facts like the major amount of love that had to come from Jack during Adam.
Anyway. Because I feel like you're one of the (very) few who agree with me, you should totally friend me. I need more happy on my flist.
