Word. And the fact that those thoughts were going through my head as I watched the series doesn't bode well for the quality of the writing.
I almost wish if we get a S4 that we do get the Gwen Cooper show (or an entirely new set of characters based on the 'missing' Torchwoods). I really can't bear the thought of going on Jack's journey of trying to re-attach himself to humanity again, particularly not post-Ianto. Mourn him for a thousand years, Jack, then come back and we'll talk.
