I really thought the comic-book superhero type death and resurrection of Jack would overshadow this episode and spoil it, but no. The balance of the very real Gwen and Rhys baby moment and Ianto's backstory, kept it firmly rooted in reality. I liked that, well written and directed.
I love Ianto's family, because they're so like mine and the estate is like one I grew up on, it's so nice for them not to be alcoholic junkies (god, does that make me sound bitter, it's not meant to, it's the usual TV stereotype). I just love them.
I'd like for the 3 of them (plus Rhys) to work together throughout the next episode, because I'd like to see if it could work for S4 or if they need new members, was it right to lose Tosh and Owen, those sorts of questions, but I doubt that will happen.
