If ever you hear me protest "No! Surely not! It cannot be! I won't have it!" etc, you can be certain I mean the opposite of what I say.
Maybe I've said this before, but I think the anal-for-vaginal thing in slash would explain the common reaction to the greenhouse scene - "What are they supposed to be doing? It looks so award!"
