I have, on occasion, been told that my outside European perspective on American politics is of interest to people, but I have equally often been told to shut the fuck up, so I'm quite nervous about talking politics. Like you say, it affects us all now, and I think a lot of people don't realise how closely a lot of us on the outside, especially in Europe, are scrutinising this election. But I'll shut up.
In my house it's been said often and with much heat that Bush has destroyed not just our country but the world. So feel free to speak up. Actually considering what a dimwit he is destroying the world was a hell of an accomplishment.
