And on the subject of Gwen/Rhys, I have no problems with their relationship being shown as much as it is, it's a relationship that says a lot about Torchwood and how it changes people, but Jack and Ianto's relationship has been forged by Torchwood itself, and is potentially just as, if not far more, interesting.
It's little things like the scene in Exit Wounds where we see Gwen winding down from the drama on the sofa with Rhys, while we're shown noting of what Jack and Ianto are doing (even if it's just having a macho beer together) that make it feel slightly biased towards the het romance, which bugs people.
