Sorry, just cut in for a moment. Maybe... just Maybe, Jack's "issues" are exactly the issues writers are having -- Jack was (Writers were) unsure about Jack's emotion and didn't want to talk about it. Isn't this sort of like "glass half full or half empty" problem...
