I'd like to direct anyone who thinks Torchwood has an actual budget towards exhibit A:

Bless Gareth, and Gareth's famous jacket. The question remains, of course, why Gareth wore actual clothes underneath said jacket in Countrycide. Surely this was unnecessary?

Also, Gareth made After Elton's hot 100 (linky), just above David Beckham (thank fuck for that) and just below small-faced actor Ryan Reynolds. I don't post about small-faced actor Ryan Reynolds a lot, though in fact, I have a bit of a pet theory that just about every film made in the past five years would have been vastly improved by having small-faced actor Ryan Reynolds play the lead. It's not a popular opinion, I realise, but it's mine so there you go.

People are still reading and commenting on my Ianto cockspam. Where are these people coming from? Explain yourselves, people, I hate being out of the loop.

Torchwood has more budget constraints than I do. :/ Anything of Ianto's that is casual I just assume belongs to GDL. Even perhaps the tight jeans for his down-low rent boy fantasies. If you believe GDL, a shirt wasn't the only thing not under that ensemble. Surprised he didn't pull down the jeans again to prove it!

I do find it funny he wore that jacket camping in Wales where he was before the concert.


As for the cockspam, it's legend. I may have to recommend it around one of these days.

well, I linked the cockspam in the meta section of my recent torchwood reclist of doom, but so far only a few people have probably actually gone through it; I'm trying to clean it up a bit more before I post it anywhere other than my journal.

I'm not a fan of the necklace, though. Men wearing eye makeup and skirts? Yes. Men wearing jewelry? No. I have no idea where I get my bizarre set of tranny standards from but there it is. And I know it's not even a girly necklace, I just... don't... like it.

Just have to say I love those pics and I love the fact that GDL had no shirt on underneath that jacket and I love the necklace as well.

And yes he needs to wear those tight jeans again, like on stage so we can all um you know... *goes to gutter and parks herself there :-D*

i noticed the jacket, too, and thought either he stole it from the wardrobe dept or they made him wear his own clothes
