you make perfect sense to me personally, i don't think jack is that type of guy and i don't think he is the same guy we met in 'the empty child' either i mean, he's been around for... years - ppl change over time the fact that some ppl have that interpretation is the fault of a serious lacking on the writers' part but we all see what we want to see anyway
