I don't have as much of a problem with that interpretation, though I still think there has been ample evidence onscreen that Ianto has FEELINGS for Jack, from his Brokeback Coat moment, to his "meaning" line in Adam, and I think that if Jack is approaching it from a fuckbuddy angle that is STILL just a little bit icky from Jack's POV, because I think Jack is WELL AWARE of the fact that Ianto has feelings for him. If you haven't seen any evidence of any emotional investment from Ianto, then that's fair enough, but I have.
