LOLOL. I was just watching Total Wipeout and Richard Hammond's hair made me have to do a post, dudes. I mean, I think he's a hideously ugly troll creature as it is, but man, he's now making it very hard for me not to laugh out loud at him for literally minutes on end. I cannot fathom how there are people out there who find him attractive.

My son watches Blast Lab and Total Wipeout, and my other half watches Top Gear, even though he doesn't drive a car or even like cars. I just think Hammond's a tiny mutant troll man and I don't understand the fascination.

Yeah, I was aghast when I saw his hair on last week's Top Gear. I dunno, he's got a bit of that 70's - 80's pop singer vibe going on, sort of like Rod Stewart (Disclaimer: I do NOT fancy Rod Stewart in the slightest!).

There's a similarity, I suppose. I don't really understand presenter-fangirling, it kind of hits an RPF squick for me, I guess. Back when I was a Ten fan I was mostly a Ten fan, and not a Tennant fan. Now I hate Ten, and my love for Tennant has all but vanished because of it.

Gotta say, my comments are based on online clips. A lot of them are from his right after his crash on top Gear. First impression - kinda cute in a pixieish kind of way. Yeah, I can see the resemblance to Tennant. Not someone who would appeal to me, but don't see the troll creature.

Found a few from Total Wipeout - yeah what's with that layered look? Whoever mentioned Rod Stewart is exactly right. Still don't really see the troll.

So... do you have a picture or clip that epitomizes the troll look? Or even something with the current bad hair?

I quite fancy Richard Hammond but not enough to sit through Total Wipeout. I fancy James May just a tiny bit too.

I think Hammond has the biggest eyes on television - they're even babyish - so maybe that's why he appeals to the mothering instincts in me. But then so does Ianto, except for when he's holding a big gun, then he has a totally different affect on me.
