Random Torchwood shizzle, yo...
The question attached to the picture: Do they just keep those cyberschematics hanging around the autopsy bay to annoy Ianto? Do they point at them and go "LOL!" every once in a while?- Darryn says his ideal Season Three of Torchwood would get rid of everyone except Tosh and bring in Martha's sister and a character from Season One, in other words, and I quote: "Tish, Tosh, Denby-Ashe and a strapon."
- What I've read now about episode 11 and the rest of the season... meh. Whatever. I give up.
That was it, really. I don't know why I even bothered.

The thing I don't get is, it seems that they recognized really early how good the GDL/JB chemistry was. And they started acting on it pretty fast (the episode 4 kiss of life). So, why did they even bother with all this Jack/ Gwen stuff if no one really saw it to begin with? At least, not after episode 3. It just makes them all look like assholes. The characters, the writers, the producers, and even the actors for going along with it.
And the "it really isn't meant to be romantic" thing only goes so far. That may be true, but lots of people can and have reasonably interpreted that stuff to be romantic, so it might as well be.
Where is Uncle Rusty's head anyway? Maybe he's got it shoved so far up the Doctor's ass he can't see that he's letting the mothership hurt its spin-offs. And that just makes me not happy with Doctor Who, and nothing is supposed to do that. Ever. I feel like he's taking away my possible enjoyment of season 4.
And all this over fake, television relationships. I feel like a mad woman over this show sometimes.

I think that they (alliterating much?)needed to trow a bone to "homophobicly" inclined part of the audience in order to not to loose them. As frustrated as I am by that whole Gwen's "humanity" angle(read: I will screw with Owen, pine for exciting boss, but go back home to "borin, reliable Rys- cuz I'm human dam it!)
I can understand PTB desire to appeal to the wider audience, It doesn't mean that I don't cringe every time I see a meaningful, emotional scene between the two of them. *Jack you asshole, you should be sharing that crap with -looking good in the suit but better with out it-Ianto*
And on the other note, I don't think that actors have much saying in what direction their characters are taken.
