Eve Myles: "But with Jack and Gwen, it’s the real thing and they’re going to make you wait for that."

I'm going to hate S2 of Torchwood SO BAD. Can someone find me a new fandom, because between this and LotTL, I'm kind of giving up.

There's always House, yah?

But with Jack and Gwen, it’s the real thing and they’re going to make you wait for that

So . . . Jack + Everyone Ever is not the Real Thing? . . .

Maybe he's just spread himself too thin? It's hard to turn out something quality when you're being pulled in a bunch of different directions.

Have I heard this theory of yours?

It could be bunnies.

that new steven moffat show jekyll is supposed to be a bit good, yeah? *also desperately searching for shows to fill the long dark who-and-torchwood-free months*

btw, i think rusty's real problem is that deep down he wishes that he had a magical healing vag of his very own. but he doesn't, so he creates all these annoying characters who do, and then makes everyone else inexplicably worship them.

as long as jack/gwen kills gwen/owen, though, i'm fucking ecstatic. i mean, ew.

i haven't seen any yet - let me know if it's any good if you see it first, yeah? i'm willing to give it a shot simply because teh moff has got wicked game when it comes to writing, and also to see what kind of a show he'd run if when he takes over from uncle rusty.

and the healing vag thing makes me sad indeed. unfortunately rtd is far from alone in this particular flaw; there are several completely brilliant male writers who can't write a single believable interesting self-contained well-rounded female character to save their effin' life. madame de p and the girl from 'empty child' do give me hope about moffat, though.
