I've frozen all comments in the thread about JB. I said my piece on the homophobia thing a long time ago and in light of the fucking wank surrounding the Ianbots and their documentation, my misrepresentation in that piece of documentation, and their continued inabaility to distingush between the pretty boy they want back on their television doing more gay kissing and the actual problem of actual homophobia as it relates to actual real people, I have no desire to drag this journal into yet another discussion about CoE and whether or not it was homophobic. I'm just not in the mood.

I ran into some of those people. I makes me sad to be a Ianto fan. I guess RTD was right and they only liked Ianto because he was pretty.

I actually liked the blue people movie. Then again, I'm not anti fantasy when it's done well. I totally understand not being into that kind of thing, though.

James Cameron is really good at created very intricate and interesting universes. He's just not good at writing deep and intricate stories. I met a guy who worked on the film, and apparently they may be doing a Lawrence Kasdan for the sequel. He wrote Empire Strikes Back. This would be really cool.

Also, Adam Lambert is a lot things...poseur, full of himself, stuck with the most insane fan base of anyone in ages...but a gay role model is not one of them. Just about every gay man I know is annoyed with his behavior. The rest of them don't care enough to learn about his behavior enough to be annoyed. Also, if I said this anywhere near a "Glambert" (the crazy fans) I'd be labeled a homophobe, so not that different from JB/TW really.

Sadly, some of the best gay role models I know of in entertainment are still in the closet to the public. NPH is a good person to vote for. I've heard he's a great guy.
