Blech... my gran came over for Christmas dinner and gave us all a rotten flu, which is now ebbing away and turning into a rotten cold. I FEEL LIKE CRAP. Am slowly returning to the land of the living. I owe some people some pm's and I'll do that later, I promise.

ninja_teaboy passed the 200 members level just after Christmas, soo woo and indeed yay on that front. I shall devote more time to it in the new year and actually Do Stuff.

Couple comments
Now on to Gareth, pie, Blue Gillespie ... I've been pretty quiet about my impressions but since I'm bored at work today I decided to spill.
He looks better without facial hair. If he has facial hair he should keep it trimmed. He looks very hairy and it gets untidy quickly. Not a good look for him. He looks old, used up, and scraggly.
He didn't really look pudgy around the middle, but he looked real beefy around the upper arms and chest (and not in a good way). He should have kept his jacket on, or worn a long sleeve shirt.
He has a lovely voice when he's not screaming. I enjoy music when I can understand the lyrics. Might not be as important for BG or Gareth. I listen to Portishead, 12 Stones, Nightwish, and they scream, but in the proper place and where it's effective. So far, what I've seen of BG, is that the screaming IS the song. Too bad. I'll never gravitate toward Gareth and his singing career.
His eyes seem to get red rimmed when he's drinking??? Some of the pictures look bad because he looks wasted.
Gareth hasn't learned yet (at least from what I can tell) that everything he does will end up on YouTube, or in a LiveJournal, or online somewhere, and matter to his fans. He has to market himself 24 hours a day. So .... I will continue to adore him as Ianto, and only pay half a mind to his alter ego.
