As confident as I am that this election is going to go the correct way, I'm getting more and more nervous as the zero-hour approaches. Gah! Let's just get it overwith!

Were/are you able to vote?

[identity profile] kelspots.livejournal.com 2008-11-04 09:18 am (UTC)(link)
Didn't we give the Dutch the vote? Hmm. Guess not.

Wasn't sure of your current location/national status.

Good luck to you guys down there.... we're holding our breath to see what happens!

Just noticed now you wrote earlier that you're in Amsterdam, sorry! :) So you're holding your breath like the rest of us (I'm Canadian).

*goes back to holding breath*

I voted weeks ago, thank goodness. I'll be saying my prayers though because it's not sewn up completely until it all gets going.

Nervous. Nervous. Nervous. They say there's a several hour wait at the polls. But I'll wait all day if I have to.

However, I have a good feeling about this election. Everyone predicts a virtual Obama landslide. Still... let's not celebrate too early. Elections have been fucked up in the past.

'Elections have been fucked up in the past.'
Yeah. Everyone though Gore was going to win and look what happened there.

You don't have to worry about my vote, at least.

I did what I could to make Pennsylvania blue.

*crosses fingers*

I'll be voting here in the great state of Maryland as soon as I get off work today. and, under my sweater, I've got my Obama/Biden t-shirt on. :)

I waited an hour I was #93 at the polls and I rocked my vote for Obama.

Now the waiting game begins.

My stomach's in knots over this. I'll be going a bit later to vote with my kids - I heard there was NO line at my polling place at 8 am, so I hope it'll continue that way. Doing my part to make VA blue.

Wondering if I should chill that bottle of Veuve Cliquot that's been around here for a couple of years... or is that counting the chickens before they hatch? ARGH!!!!

Brain is addled from sick child-induced insomnia...

Done. And early, too! No lines.

I voted for Obama a couple of weeks ago. *thumbs up*

I feel confident that Obama will win, but I fear that if he doesn't win by a significant margin we'll have to suffer through another cluster-fuck of a recount. And then things could change inexplicably...
