Random SPOILERY ramblings on Silence in the Library...

  • River's so dead. I mean that she's going to die next episode, surely. Not that that wipes out anything of her history with the Doctor, I mean, I mean his first meeting with her was the one where she dies and her first meeting with him has yet to happen in his timeline, and when she meets him for the first time he will already inevitably know how and when she eventually dies. But hey, they've got a pretty fat TARDIS diary of stuff to get through before that happens, right? So it's ok. It just seems very Moffat somehow to me, that she would die. (And yeah, it's all a bit derivative of both GitF and Blink, and obviously, The Time Traveller's Wife, but I think it'll end up slightly less so than we may be fearing.)

  • The girl is the computer/the people have been downloaded/saved/ghosted to the central database and will be resurrected/dr. Moon and the dad are programs, the dad maybe a virus or something. Yes? Is it just that simple? Or am I missing something less straightforward??

  • By the way, as Darryn pointed out to me, in L&M, Elton's mum was etted by a living shadow from the Howling Halls or someting. Just mentioning it.

  • Yeah, "Lux" isn't a giveaway name in any way or anything.

  • I THINK THE REASON I HATED SERIES THREE WAS THERE WAS NO EUROS LYN TO MAKE IT ALL BETTER.

That is all.

I am now off to watch Sleeper in my quest to rewatch TW in nonsensical order. Or perhaps Sleeper AND Adrift.

It can't be that simple, it just can't. But it probably is. Whatever the little girl is, Donna is too. God, am I looking forward to next week.

Ah, Sleeper and Adrift. The "Jack is a hard-hearted asshole for the greater good" collection.

She has to die if she'd give the Doctor one.

I'm developing an aversion to women's faces in big stone blocks. It makes me twitch.
