Oh will he be steering all of the DW-related boats as well? I'll be interested to see how he takes on TW considering we know of his work on DW already (we can thank him for Jack after all!)!!
You DW fans are so lucky [I consider myself one, as well, but I'm more invested in TW ***coughIantocough*** even though I'm mesmerized by David Tennant's big brown eyes :)]. Like some others have mentioned, I REALLY hope SOMEHOW he has his hands in TW. I sit and watch Dr. Who and constantly ask myself why can't TW have the same type of writing/production values [and yes, I know Dr. Who is an institution, but still, this is about ME and my wants :-)]???? I absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING about the “The Fires of Pompeii.”
griggharris sent me here, knowing how much I worship Moffat and LKSJDFLSKJD AHHHHHHH SO GOOD. RTD did great for a while, but oh. Oh. I need a cigarette now, that news was so good. Please, please, please let this also mean he takes TW, too, because we need the guy who created Jack to write more Jack, yes? Yes!
Yeah, TW wasn't mentioned, and I think that's sad news. There are BIG changes afoot at TW HQ and I don't think they include teh Moff. I hope they do, I'd love it, but I don't think so.
well let's just give bbc wales for getting that right! moffat is perfect to take over from rtd. the DW story lines may just get more interesting with someone that doesn't feel the need to be smug and "clever" at the stick.
I have immense faith in Moffat, I absolutely adore the man. I hope it's not misguided, it's a big job, but I feel in my bones he's the right guy for the job.
I hadn't. I meant to post about it last week. They said in the Confidential for The Doctor's Daughter that they were going to kill off Jenny, but Moffat requested they bring her back to life, and my brain started working overtime. The episode was nothing to DO with Moffat and I just thought, "Why would they care what Moffat wants??" and then it creeped into my head that he was taking over and I kind of melted a bit and forgot to post about it. I'm pissed off now, because I usually get a nice one-week head start on this kind of thing and it makes me look really clever. Damn.

And maybe let Moffers do TW too?
Also and, am I the last to twig the TW/Tintin connection? Duh.
I applied before but I got knocked back 'cos the BBC wanted someone else. Also I was seven.
