IT MAKES ME SO MAD. It's a minor change that could have easily been written in, even with the script more or less finished, SOME BIGWIG with an eye on THE BIGGER PICTURE could have said "no let's rewrite this like so and that will give us a few nice little tie ins to the existing storyline," which is what this episode was lacking.
