It's teh Yantoe onna top...

OK, look, I promise that after the weekend I shall formulate and express complex theories as to why Ianto is such a Dominant, bedroomwise. If you think you've got important evidences, please don't hesitate to leave them here for me to mull over. But right now it's the weekend and I have Stuff To Do, so I'll just leave you with a bit from nightspring's stills (which don't seem to be loading anymore, but don't worry, I too shall use pictures for great justice and luls):

I'd like to hang this one in a gallery and call it

UR FAYCE, MY COCK

Anyway, whatevers.

Newbie to TW and Janto, love your polls. The D/s tendencies of the Jack/Ianto relationship is very fascinating. I must confess I had enormous difficulty answering you question, I think because I wasn't sure of the definitions. Physically, I think switch. Psychologically, so much harder. I LOVE an interesting power dynamic, and suspect that I have a secret servile kink. (I also ship Jeeves/Wooster :) I find Ianto helping Jack put on his coat as sexy as all the innuendo. I don't practical experience to base this on, only imagination - I find the it's the subversion of the obvious D/s roles that really excites and fascinates. In Sleeper the hilarity of watching Ianto tease and torment Jack was enhanced by him technically being subordinate in the work place. In pop culture Doms are usually flashy and obvious, but I love the idea of a subtle Dom. I guess it depend on whether you see Ianto serving Jack whims or Ianto organizing Jack's life. I'm not sure - but I prefer the latter. Like Jeeves/Wooster, where the valet is clearly the one in control, and the movie 'Secretary' where the inexperienced sub/secretary outplays her boss; despite outward roles/appearances, there is no doubt who really tops.
