I'm still waiting for any mention of a mother for Ianto. I'm beginning to believe it was an immaculate conception by the father (Torchwood-related, of course) and that's what we'll find out tomorrow! Daddy Dearest resented his baby boy for ruining his figure; he couldn't fit into any of those impeccably tailored suits he had in his closet after Ianto was born...he also got arthritis in his hands soon after so he couldn't make any more, which is why he had to work in Debenham's instead.
